really great work one of the best aseprite extensions i’ve seen it’s a bit sad that updates have stopped for almost a year i really hope you haven’t given up on it it would be amazing if you could add something like linking a certain input to a tag name

Hey man! I'm really glad I followed you, and I saw you rated this extension, and found out that this is very useful! Thank you!

Gotta share the good stuff, maybe the dev will return to updating it

(+1)

Yeah, I hope so too, I wish he would create a top-down version too (I would definitely pay for it xD)

Hi! No worries, I'm still actively working on Asemulator :)

There has been a lack of news on Itchio, as I'm mainly active on Twitter, Bluesky, and Discord (link can be found in the extension itself, feel free to drop by to ask about anything!)

1.0 release is planned for the end of 2025, you can expect a bunch of new features, and way more in the paid templates that will be released at the same time (Including what you asked for in your comment haha)

YEEEEYYY!!! Do you have a plan to create the top-down version too in the future?

its not working for me :/

This is fantastic, game changer for iterating on walkcycles!

I couldn't work out how to setup ground collision for the bg image, but hacked it by extending the character's canvas.

Edit: I just needed to add a slice to the bg image and call it asmlt_bg_collisionbox

Really amazing work, thanks!

THIS IS what I needed.Thank you for this wonderful plugin. It's cool, but of course, more is needed. There are animations left to do:bending down, double jump, dash, emotions, picking up objects, sitting, etc. (and if possible, weapons =) )Also, make it so that the objects we don't control, like trees, are animated too. When I exit the application, the keyboard settings reset, and I have to change them back.I also didn't understand how to create my own blocks, like collision so I don't fall down.So basically, it’s just those things left and1.0 will be ready.

Hey! Sorry that happened to you. Could you give me more information about how and when it happened?

Feel free to join the discord server and use the help/bug report channels there :)
